  I. CETATEA DE GAND  - Scrieri din Tinerete

Adica elemente neinsufletite. Doar Mesterul Manole a reusit sa construiasca o cetate vie, ingropand in zidirea inerta  o parte a « sufletului » sau creator.

STRADA SFORII

                                               Strada desirată din adanc,

                                               Pusa- n calea trecatorilor grabiti,

Sa le lege spada de oblanc,

                                               Si privirea pururi de parinti.

II. EURO – ASIA SILK HIGHWAY

WORLD CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL
Washington DC - June 22-25, 2007

The world's largest celebration of children's talents and imagination - the World Children's Festival - will showcase children's creativity, equip them with communication and collaboration skills, and promote mutual respct and trust for the next generation of global leaders.

The World Children's Festival will affirm a vision of hope and foster a sense of common interests and values.

The Festival culminates the ICAF's third Arts Olympiad*, in which more than three million children in about 100 countries participated. Supported by free lesson plans and implemented by the ICAF and its country partners, child artists ages 8 to 12 produced produced paintings and digital art on the theme “My Favorite Sport” to celebrate the artist-athlete ideal of a creative mind and healthy body.

During the Festival, winners of Arts Olympiad competitions will represent their overseas countries and U.S. States and Territories through peer-bonding and cultural exchange. Children performance groups from around the world will join the visual artists and artist-athletes on the National Mall on June 23-25. The children, their teachers and parents will benefit from a range of activities including design education, leadership development, sports and health, exercises in peace education, and environmental awareness and monitoring programs. The artworks will be presented in a special exhibition, titled Visions of Self in Motion, across from the National Gallery of Art. The Festival is free and open to the public, and based on previous festivals in 1999 and 2003 is estimated to attract more than 10,000 visitors and attendees.

Art & Sport

By combining art and sport, movement and music, health and creativity, the Festival will generate a complete synesthetic experience - a total work of art that transforms the National Mall.

“Art and sport have the powers to change the world, the power to inspire, the power to unite people in a way that little else can. Art and sport speak to people in a language they understand. Art and sport can create hope where there was once only despair. They are instruments for peace, even more powerful than governments,” said Nobel Laureate Nelson R. Mandela.
