"REDUTA" CULTURAL CENTRE
In 1958 the Culture Hall is settled, as an institution for culture, being located in the actual headquarters of the "George Baritiu" District Library Brasov and having only education-related activities.
In 1959 the headquarters moves to the Palace in 8, Apollonia Hirscher Street. The institution takes over separate ensembles or some which functioned within the Popular School for Arts, coordinates Romanian, Hungarian and German theatre groups, Hungarian and German dance ensembles. It also takes over, from the Popular School for Arts, the folk ensemble "Poienita" and settles the ballet club.
In 1965 the institution receives the name of the Municipal House of Culture.
In the years to come, a series of other ensembles of (professional, folk) dance, choirs, circles which created the fame of the Cultural Centre were formed under its care, obtaining numerous prizes at national and international level. The activity of the Regional Education Centre for Adults is remarkable as well as the preoccupation of the institution to lay open to the public a series of courses led by professionals.
In 1995 the institution receives the name The Cultural Settlement "Tara Barsei" and in 2003, by means of the County Council Decision No. 350/11.09.2003, it is named "Reduta" Cultural Centre.

Talents’ School
At the beginning, there was the IDEA ! The purpose? To create the perfect STAR ! And because we found some youngsters who would like to reach this status, why not would’t we create a “Talents’ School”?
Then, we began to introduce into the computer the following items:TALENT, BEAUTY, MANAGEMENT.
Nothing easier in order to create the ideal type of Star !
Theoretically, because practicaly…
This idea was promoted some years ago by Romanian National TV.
Now, we intent to renew this program and to atract talents worldwide on the Silk Highway, inviting them to become the NEW STARS under our mentors high supervision.
